Afrobeats heavyweights Wizkid, Burna Boy and Asake will headline Afro Nation 2026, organisers have confirmed.
The three-day festival, one of the world’s biggest celebrations of Afrobeats and Amapiano, will take place from 3 to 5 July at Praia da Rocha Beach in Portimão, Portugal.
Burna Boy will open the festival on 3 July, sharing the stage with South African star Tyla, whose Amapiano-inspired sound has propelled her to international success.
Asake is set to headline on 4 July, while Wizkid will close the festival on 5 July.
The 2026 line-up also features American R&B singer Kehlani and rapper Gunna, alongside Nigerian artistes including Olamide, Young Jonn, Darkoo, Wande Coal and Mavo.
Organisers said early access ticket sales will begin on 5 February.
Founded in Portugal in 2019, Afro Nation has grown into a global cultural movement celebrating African music, fashion and lifestyle. The festival has since expanded to cities including Accra, Miami and Detroit, with previous headliners ranging from Davido and Megan Thee Stallion to Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj.
