Zulum Reaffirms Collaboration With Military On Security Operations

Governor Babagana Zulum has said the Borno State Government is working closely with security agencies to prevent insurgent activities and strengthen peace efforts across the state.

He said his administration remains in constant consultation with the military and the Yobe State Government on security matters, particularly in areas affected by insurgency.

Zulum stressed that no community or market would be reopened or resettled without proper clearance and coordination with security authorities.

He reaffirmed his government’s commitment to protecting law-abiding citizens while supporting ongoing military operations aimed at restoring stability in the North-East.

The governor also urged residents to remain vigilant and provide credible intelligence to security agencies to aid counter-terrorism efforts in the region.
