NANS poll must be credible, says candidate

A presidential aspirant of the National Association of Nigerian Students has called for a free, fair and transparent electoral process ahead of the union’s forthcoming election.

Comrade Olamide Odumosu made the call after successfully completing his screening to contest for the office of National President, describing the exercise as engaging and worthwhile.

Odumosu stressed that there must be no room for malpractice capable of undermining the credibility of the election.

He noted that student leadership must be anchored on integrity, accountability and the genuine will of Nigerian students.

“Our student leadership must be built on integrity, accountability, and the true will of the students,” he said.

The aspirant is contesting under the “Hope-Rebirth 2026” agenda.
