Today, 7th March, marks one year since you left us, our beloved father, Late Elder Jatau Danladi Bako. The pain of your departure is still deeply felt, and the vacuum you left behind remains truly irreplaceable.
You were more than a father; you were a pillar of strength, a man of wisdom, faith, and integrity. Your life was a shining example of humility, discipline, and service to family, church, and community. Through your words and actions, you taught us the values of honesty, hard work, respect for others, and unwavering faith in God.
As a family, we continue to hold on to the lessons you gave us and the love you shared with everyone around you. Your guidance shaped our lives, and your prayers continue to be our source of strength even in your absence.
Though a year has passed, it feels like yesterday when we heard your voice, received your counsel, and experienced your fatherly care. We miss your presence, your wisdom, and your gentle way of bringing peace and unity to those around you.
Your legacy lives on through your children, grandchildren, and all whose lives you touched. We remain grateful to God for the privilege of having you as our father and mentor.
As we remember you today, we pray that the Almighty God grants your soul eternal rest and continues to comfort the family and all who mourn you.
You may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our hearts.
Rest on, dear father, until we meet again.
