The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mr Nyesom Wike, has named Mr Sani Daura as his Senior Special Assistant on Protocol Matters.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday, the minister’s spokesman, Mr Lere Olayinka, said Daura brings more than three decades of experience in protocol and ceremonial duties within the FCT Administration.
Daura has served as Director of the FCT Protocol Department since 2019 and is scheduled to retire from the civil service on 24 January.
Olayinka said the appointment would take effect immediately after Daura’s retirement from public service.
