President Bola Tinubu has nominated Dr Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), for appointment as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The nomination was conveyed in a letter to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, and read during Tuesday’s plenary session.
Udeh, who currently serves as Enugu State’s Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, is expected to undergo screening by the Senate.
In the correspondence, Tinubu expressed confidence that the Senate would give the nomination “expeditious consideration.”
After the letter was read, Senate President Akpabio referred the matter to the Committee of the Whole for prompt review.
