Serie A club, Atalanta BC have made it abundantly clear that they will not entertain any reductions in the asking price for Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman.
The Bergamo-based club is open to selling the talented player this summer, but only if their valuation of between €50 million and €60 million is met, according to reports from Tuttomercato.
Lookman, who has garnered attention from a host of top clubs across Europe, is currently a hot topic in the transfer market. Premier League heavyweights Arsenal have reportedly reignited their interest in the skillful winger, highlighting the potential for a significant move this transfer window.
In addition to Arsenal, Serie A giants Napoli and Juventus have also been linked with the 27-year-old, further intensifying speculation about his future. With just one year remaining on his contract with Atalanta, the club is keen to secure a lucrative deal before the transfer deadline.
Last season, Lookman enjoyed a standout campaign with Atalanta, netting an impressive 15 goals and providing five assists in 31 league appearances for La Dea. His performances have not only made him a key player for the club but have also caught the eye of scouts from some of Europe’s elite teams.
As the summer transfer window progresses, all eyes will be on Lookman and whether any club will meet Atalanta’s demands, paving the way for a potentially high-profile move in the coming weeks.
