President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will arrive in Abuja on Tuesday, 16 September, after bringing his overseas vacation to an early close, his office has confirmed.
Tinubu, who began his annual holiday on 4 September in France, had originally planned to divide the period between Paris and London. His media adviser, Bayo Onanuga, said the president would now resume duties ahead of schedule.
While in Paris, Tinubu met privately with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. Both leaders discussed ways of strengthening Nigeria–France cooperation and agreed to deepen collaboration in areas of shared interest.
The president’s early return comes as his administration continues to push major economic and governance reforms at home, while seeking closer international partnerships to promote regional stability.
