Tinubu Hails Dele Alake’s Loyalty And Service At 69

President Bola Tinubu has paid glowing tribute to his long-time confidant and current Minister of Solid Minerals, Dr Dele Alake, as he marks his 69th birthday.

In a statement released on Monday by his spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu extolled Alake’s “steadfastness, loyalty and unyielding commitment” over several decades of partnership.

Describing him as “a consummate strategist, outstanding journalist and accomplished public servant,” the President recalled their enduring collaboration in governance and public communication. He noted that Alake has consistently played a pivotal role in advancing national development.

Tinubu particularly lauded Alake’s leadership in repositioning the solid minerals sector to serve as a strong alternative revenue stream for Nigeria in the post-oil era.

“On this special day, I pray that Almighty God will continue to bless Dele with good health, wisdom, and strength,” the President said, adding that his minister’s patriotism and professionalism stand him out as a model of public service.

Tinubu concluded by wishing Alake a long life filled with more years of service to the nation and humanity.
