Tinubu Focused On Nigeria’s Progress Despite ADC Emergence – Presidency

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains committed to leading Nigeria towards progress and development despite the recent formation of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, has said.

Speaking with newsmen in Kano on Tuesday, Abdulaziz stressed that the president was focused on delivering on his administration’s promises and would not be distracted by the emergence of new political parties or alliances.

“Tinubu remains undeterred by the formation of the ADC. He has reaffirmed his commitment to leading the nation towards progress and development,” he said.

He noted that the Federal Government would continue to prioritise economic growth, security, infrastructure development, and social welfare, adding that Tinubu’s policies were designed to drive stability and sustainable development.

Abdulaziz described the formation of the ADC as part of Nigeria’s democratic process, saying Tinubu was committed to governing for all Nigerians, irrespective of party lines.

Highlighting infrastructure projects, he cited the Sokoto–Lagos and Lagos–Calabar highways, the completed Lagos–Ibadan road, and the ongoing rail line to Maiduguri as evidence of the president’s commitment to development.

According to him, Tinubu’s vision is anchored on unity, prosperity, and people-oriented programmes that enhance citizens’ welfare. He added that the president had continued to engage political leaders, traditional rulers, and civil society groups to strengthen national unity.

Abdulaziz expressed confidence that Tinubu’s leadership would deliver tangible results that improve the lives of Nigerians.
