Speaker Says Gov Sule Is God-sent To Nasarawa

The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr Danladi Jatau, says Gov. Abdullahi Sule is a God-sent leader to the people of the state considering his achievements in all sectors.

The speaker stated this on Wednesday when he hosted the members of the 18 Area Administrative Councils in his office in Lafia.

He said that Sule was making everybody proud via his quality projects, programmes and policies in the state.

Jatau said, “Gov. Sule is God-sent to the state. He has done well in the area of infrastructure, education, health, agriculture among others.

“Let’s us all continue to pray and give him support to succeed and to enable him continue with the good work he is doing.

“You are the grassroots as politics is local. It is under my watch that we enacted a law that created the Area Administrative Councils for grassroots’ development.”

He urged them  to discharge their duties without fear or favour, appealing, ” you have to give your administrators all the necessary and needed support to succeed.

“Please avoid confrontation but embrace good working relationship with your administrators.”

The speaker urged the members to embrace team work and respect their administrators for the development of their respective councils.

Jatau also urged them to carry their people along while discharging their duties and embrace the policy vision of the governor.

He advised the members and other people to continue to live in peace and unity irrespective of their affiliations.

The speaker assured them of improved welfare to enable them discharge their duties effectively.

Earlier, Mr Sani Yakubu, the Chairman, 18 Areas Administrative Councils, said that the visit was to condole with the speaker over the death of his younger sister, Hajaratu.

He prayed to Almighty God to grant the speaker and the family the fortitude to bear the loss, forgive her shortcomings and grant her eternal rest.

Yakubu assured the speaker of their unflinching loyalty and support to the government of Sule. (NAN)
