Sidi, Ally of Ex-VP Sambo, Joins APC in Kaduna with Supporters

Sani Sidi, an ally of former Vice President and ex-governor of Kaduna State, Namadi Sambo, has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna, accompanied by a group of supporters.

The former Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and several other key figures from the PDP were received by Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani on Tuesday.

During the defection ceremony held at the Trade Fair Complex in Kaduna, Governor Uba Sani expressed that the APC would extend fairness to both its new and established members.

He remarked, “Muhammad Sani Sidi has rejoined the APC because of our governance style, which is centred on justice and the welfare of our citizens.”

Prominent APC members in attendance included the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudddeen, and Minister of Environment, Malam Balarabe Abbas, among others.
