Ships Expected At Lagos Ports With Petroleum Products And Food Items

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 16 ships loaded with petroleum products, food items, and other commodities are scheduled to arrive at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos between 27 and 29 October.

In its Daily Shipping Position released on Tuesday, the NPA stated that six of the vessels are conveying crude oil, five are carrying aviation fuel, and the remaining five are laden with gasoline, diesel, gas oil, and containers filled with various goods.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) also reports that two ships have already arrived at the Lagos ports, awaiting berthing with general cargo and bulk consignments.

Meanwhile, 19 other vessels are currently discharging cargoes, including bulk wheat, gypsum, containers, and petrol, according to the NPA.
