The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has hailed Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, describing him as a man of resilience and calm leadership whose qualities inspire the party nationwide.
Chief Bakkita Bello, Caretaker Chairman of the Ondo PDP, made the remark in a statement on Wednesday in Akure while welcoming Fubara back to office “after a political distraction meant to derail the will of the people.”
Bello said Fubara’s return was not only a victory for democracy but also a reaffirmation that the mandate freely given to him by the people of Rivers could not be subverted. He praised the governor’s commitment to peace, development and service despite daunting challenges.
“Your courage in standing firm for justice and truth serves as a beacon of hope to all lovers of democracy and good governance. Your genuine love for the people and fear of God stand you out among politicians,” Bello stated.
The Ondo PDP assured Fubara of its prayers, solidarity and goodwill, expressing confidence that Rivers State would continue to thrive in unity, prosperity and progress under his watch.
