Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accepted U.S. President Donald Trump’s invitation to join the Board of Peace for Gaza. In a statement on Wednesday, Netanyahu confirmed his participation, noting the board would include world leaders.
The announcement comes days after Netanyahu’s office had opposed the board, saying it was unveiled without coordination with Israel and conflicted with Israeli policy. The board forms part of Trump’s plan to end the Gaza war.
