NDLEA operatives have arrested several suspects in connection with major drug seizures across Nigeria.
The agency’s Media Director, Mr Femi Babafemi, said that among those detained was a 27-year-old in Kano State found with 197,000 exol-5 tablets, while two others were arrested in Adamawa State with over 1.5 million tramadol capsules concealed in jumbo bags mixed with sandals.
Babafemi quoted NDLEA Chairman, retired Brigadier General Buba Marwa, as commending officers in Delta, Adamawa, Imo, Ondo, Lagos and Kano for their efforts.
Marwa praised the balanced approach of the agency in reducing both drug supply and demand, noting that the operational successes were a significant step in combating drug trafficking nationwide.
