ITTF Africa Signs Sponsorship Agreement With Stag Global

The African Table Tennis Federation (ITTF Africa) says it has strengthened partnership with the Stag Global equipment manufacturers by signing a two-year equipment sponsorship agreement.

The agreement will enable Stag Global to supply equipment for major table tennis events across Africa to them.

This is contained in a statement signed by Stag Global Directors Pooja Kohli and Arjun Kohli, on Sunday in Lagos.

Kohli said the partnership was part of their commitment to advancing table tennis across Africa.

He said that the agreement covered all the 2025 and 2026 major continental tournaments starting with the 2025 Africa Cup and Club Championships in Tunisia later this month.

“We are extremely delighted to collaborate with the African Table Tennis Federation, effective Jan. 1, to Dec. 31, 2026.

“We are pleased to state that this sponsorship and supply partnership reflect our shared commitment to advancing table tennis across Africa.

“It will equip players with the highest quality gear, and foster the growth of the sport in the continent.

“At Stag Global, we believe in creating impactful collaborations that go beyond sponsorships.

“Our vision ‘Together, let’s Shape the Future of Sports’ perfectly aligns with this partnership,” he said.

Kohli said that they are looking forward to working alongside ITTF to support players’ tournaments and the broader table tennis community.

President of ITTF Africa, Wahid Oshodi, said that the collaboration with Stag Global extended to Member Associations, allowing them to purchase equipment at a favourable discount under the terms of the agreement.

“We are excited that our efforts are yielding positive results since we resumed office.

“We are confident in the quality of equipment from Stag Global, one of the foremost table tennis manufacturing companies in the world.

“We believe that having the latest equipment will help our players get accustomed to it ahead of major international competitions,” he said.

Oshodi, on behalf of ITTF Africa, thanked the management of Stag Global for partnering with the new executive.

He hoped that the partnership would go beyond the initial two-year deal. (NAN)
