Israel Closes Diplomatic Missions Worldwide Amid Ongoing Military Operations in Iran

Israel has temporarily suspended all of its diplomatic missions globally as its military operations in Iran continue, the Foreign Ministry stated in a press release on Friday.

As a result, consular services will not be accessible to Israeli citizens currently abroad, the ministry indicated.

It has urged Israelis overseas to fill out an online form to provide updates on their location and circumstances, and advised those in urgent need of help to reach out to the ministry’s situation room directly.

The statement additionally warned Israelis abroad to avoid displaying national symbols publicly, refrain from sharing identifiable information or travel plans on social media, and to avoid attending large gatherings linked to Israel.

Earlier on Friday, Israel launched a substantial strike on various military targets in Iran, including nuclear facilities.

The attacks reportedly led to the deaths of several high-ranking Iranian military commanders, including the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Mohammad Bagheri, and the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Hossein Salami, according to Iranian media sources.

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, has promised retaliation, cautioning that Israel has prepared for a grim fate.
