The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has formally recognised Senator David Mark as the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and former Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, as the party’s National Secretary.
The confirmation was contained in a notice posted on the commission’s official social media handle on Wednesday.
INEC also listed Dr. Ibrahim Mani as National Treasurer, Akibu Dalhatu as National Financial Secretary, and Prof. Oserheimen Aigberaodion Osunbor as National Legal Adviser.
The development puts to rest the leadership tussle within the ADC, which followed the resignation of the party’s former National Chairman, Ralph Nwosu, and the subsequent emergence of Mark as helmsman.
