Gov Yusuf Sends Condolences Over Deaths Of Mother, Wife Of Kano Residents

Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has extended his condolences to Alhaji Baba Umar, Executive Secretary of the Kano State Private and Voluntary Institutions Management Board, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Ramatu Bello.

Hajiya Bello passed away at the age of 98 after a prolonged illness.

In a separate message, the governor also expressed sympathy to Alhaji Ibrahim Makama, proprietor of Tambari Television, following the death of his wife, Hajiya Maryam Makama, who died during childbirth.

The messages were contained in a statement released on Monday by the governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature.

Governor Yusuf described Hajiya Bello as a compassionate mother who nurtured upright and committed children who have contributed meaningfully to societal development.

He also mourned Hajiya Maryam Makama, describing her as a devoted wife and the backbone of her family.

The governor prayed for Allah’s mercy on the departed and asked for strength and comfort for their families in this time of grief.
