Federal Projects Boost Kaduna’s Support For Tinubu, Says Governor Sani

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has confirmed that the state will back President Bola Tinubu’s bid for re-election, pointing to significant federal interventions and development projects as a driving factor.

Speaking to APC stakeholders on Sunday during the party’s nationwide electronic membership registration, Sani said Kaduna aims to register 2.5 million members, reinforcing the APC’s dominance in the state.

Highlighting key achievements under Tinubu’s administration, the governor noted the approval of N1 billion for the Kaduna Light Rail Project, describing the support as “unprecedented in Northern Nigeria.” He also revealed plans for a major poultry project, approved by the federal government, which is expected to generate 350,000 jobs and support 10,000 SMEs.

Sani also highlighted federal backing for critical infrastructure, including the Mando–Birnin Gwari road, Kwoi–Jema’a road, and multi-billion naira projects in Zaria and Rigasa, facilitated through collaboration with Speaker Tajudeen Abbas and Environment Minister Balarabe Lawal.

The governor expressed confidence that the state would emerge as a leading performer in the APC’s electronic registration exercise, noting that federal and state-level projects have strengthened public support for the party.
