Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has congratulated Prof. Charles Soludo on his re-election as Governor of Anambra State.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Soludo the winner of the November 8 gubernatorial election on Sunday, with 422,664 votes, defeating candidates from the All Progressives Congress (APC), Labour Party (LP), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and other parties.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Dr Monday Uzor, Nwifuru said Soludo’s victory was a testament to his performance during his first term.
“On behalf of the government and people of Ebonyi, I heartily congratulate Prof. Charles Soludo on his well-deserved victory. Your win confirms the people’s confidence in your visionary leadership and intellectual depth,” Nwifuru said.
He added that the re-election affirmed Soludo’s commitment to democratic principles, good governance, and an Igbo-centric development agenda.
Nwifuru also expressed optimism for strengthened collaboration between Ebonyi and Anambra, aimed at regional integration, economic transformation, and the upliftment of their citizens.
