Double Win And ₦30 Million In Prizes Highlight Fidelity Bank’s Nationwide Savings Promo

Fidelity Bank has celebrated a milestone in its GAIM Season 6 savings promotion by awarding ₦30 million in cash to 29 customers during its latest monthly draws, with one lucky participant claiming prizes in two separate rounds.

Mr Kizito Onunkwo, a customer from Nigeria’s capital region, won twice—during the fourth and sixth draws—taking home ₦2 million, a first in the promo’s history. Twenty-eight other winners from across the country were each awarded ₦1 million, bringing total disbursements during the latest rounds to ₦30 million.

The electronic raffle draws were monitored by regulatory authorities, including the FCCPC, to ensure credibility and compliance with transparency standards.

Speaking at the draw event, Dr Ken Opara, the Executive Director overseeing the promotion, said the initiative is part of Fidelity Bank’s broader mission to foster responsible financial habits and reward loyal customers.

“Fidelity Bank is proud to be at the forefront of promoting financial inclusion and helping Nigerians take steps toward long-term economic stability,” said Opara. “We see every draw as an opportunity to empower individuals with more than just cash—it’s about building a savings mindset.”

Since GAIM 6 launched in December 2024, the bank has disbursed over ₦48 million in rewards to 1,769 winners, in various promotional categories including general, youth, and gender-focused draws.

Osita Ede, Head of Product Development, detailed how customers can participate. “To qualify, individuals must save at least ₦10,000 to receive two raffle tickets. Additional savings of ₦5,000 each generate extra entries. For the ₦10 million grand prize, participants need a minimum of four entries.”

Ede added that the programme is designed to include a wide range of customers, with special provisions for women, children, NYSC members, and salaried employees—broadening its reach and impact.

Beyond the promotion, the bank recently extended school fees support totalling ₦512.8 million to over 1,300 customers, further demonstrating its commitment to education and social welfare through strategic financial assistance.
