As the world observes World Menstrual Hygiene Day today, the Caleb Danladi Foundation reaffirms its unwavering commitment to supporting the education of girls, particularly by addressing the challenges faced by young females in rural and underserved communities.
We recognise that menstrual health and hygiene is not merely a health issue; it is fundamentally a matter of dignity, equality, and access to education. Many girls in rural areas continue to miss school due to a lack of access to sanitary products, societal stigma, and insufficient awareness regarding menstrual hygiene.
In order to bridge this gap, we are delighted to announce our partnership with Terraverde Care Pads by Allgreen Ivy. Through this collaboration, we will aid girls in rural areas by providing access to sustainable, eco-friendly sanitary pads, whilst also raising awareness about menstrual hygiene management.
This initiative represents a significant step towards ensuring that no girl is left behind due to a natural biological process. It is about empowering young girls to attend school with confidence, maintain their health, and pursue their aspirations without interruption.
Together, we can foster an environment where every girl possesses the tools, knowledge, and support necessary to thrive.
