BREAKING: Fubara Makes His Return to Port Harcourt After Two Weeks of Self-Imposed Exile

Suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has returned to the state following a two-week trip abroad.

Fubara touched down at Port Harcourt International Airport in Omagwa at approximately 7 PM on Friday. Eyewitness footage captured by our correspondent shows him being welcomed by aides before being escorted away in an SUV.

Although officially on a visit to Germany, sources indicate that Fubara engaged in undisclosed discussions with President Bola Tinubu in London during his travels.

His return occurs just weeks after President Tinubu suspended both Fubara and his deputy, Prof. Ngozi Odu, along with the members of the state assembly. This decision followed rising tensions between the governor and 27 lawmakers, exacerbated by militant attacks on oil pipelines, a situation associated with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.
