Beneficiaries of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul’s outreach in the Tedi-Muwo community have expressed appreciation after receiving food items and cash ahead of Christmas.
One of them, Mrs Falilat Adewole, a widow and mother of four, said she looked forward to the society’s assistance, which comes every quarter and during special seasons such as Christmas. She added that the support would greatly help her family.
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, based at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ojo, Lagos, distributed foodstuffs to about 500 people, alongside ₦3,000 each, as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the needy.
