Arsenal will begin the 2025/26 Premier League season with a daunting run of fixtures, starting with an away trip to Manchester United at Old Trafford on 17 August, according to the official fixture list published by the club.
This will be Arsenal’s first opening match away from home since the 2022/23 season, when they defeated Crystal Palace 2-0 at Selhurst Park.
The north London side will then host Leeds United, newly promoted from the Championship, at the Emirates Stadium before travelling to face Liverpool at Anfield to round out August.
Following the September international break, the Gunners will play successive home matches against Nottingham Forest and reigning champions Manchester City, before a trip north to take on Newcastle United.
October’s calendar features a string of all-London clashes, including meetings with West Ham, Fulham, and Crystal Palace. November will begin with road games at Burnley and Sunderland, ahead of one of the most anticipated fixtures of the season — a north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur on 22 November, Spurs having recently lifted the Europa League title.
Despite falling just short of Premier League glory in each of the last three campaigns, Arsenal remain one of the strongest contenders. The club finished second behind Manchester City in both the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons, and then behind Liverpool in 2024/25.
Their European exploits were equally impressive, with Arsenal reaching the Champions League semi-finals for the first time in over 15 years. After dispatching Real Madrid in the quarter-finals, they were eventually eliminated by Paris Saint-Germain, who went on to claim the title with a dominant win over Inter Milan.
Arteta’s side will be looking to end their title drought and make a stronger push on all fronts this season — but with such a demanding start, they’ll need to hit top form straight away.
