Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation Receives Civil Service Honour

The Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation has been recognised for its longstanding support to Nigeria’s public service, as the 2025 Civil Service Week came to a close with an Awards and Recognition Night in Abuja.

The event marked the end of a week-long series of engagements aimed at celebrating civil service excellence and fostering innovation across the sector.

The Foundation, a key advocate for governance reform, served as the Diamond Sponsor of the International Civil Service Conference held on 25 and 26 June.

In addition to its sponsorship, the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation funded cash prizes for 16 out of the 21 awards presented at the gala, underlining its commitment to merit-based recognition in public service.

To honour this contribution, the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) presented a special award to the Foundation for its role as a reliable and strategic partner.

The Head of Service, who presented the award, praised the Foundation for its impact in promoting efficiency, transparency, and leadership development within the civil service.

Officials at the ceremony also lauded the collaboration, saying it reflected the power of public-private partnerships in driving long-term institutional reform.

The awards night wrapped up the Civil Service Week on a high note, reinforcing the push for performance-driven governance across Nigeria.
