Adamawa PDP Chair Warns Party Executives Against Indiscipline

The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State, Alhaji Hamza Madagali, has cautioned local government and ward executives of the party against indiscipline and high-handedness.

Madagali issued the warning on Wednesday during the maiden meeting with state, local government, and ward executives in Yola.

He urged the officials to be guided by fairness and accountability in discharging their responsibilities, stressing that every member of the party must be carried along.

“We will not tolerate indiscipline in the party. Let everything be done according to due process because we are here for progress,” he said.

“As executives, you are not expected to be high-handed. Carry everyone along, especially those who contested for your positions,” he added.

Madagali said the PDP remained strong and influential in Adamawa State due to the developmental strides of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.

Expressing optimism about the 2027 general elections, he said early mobilisation and grassroots engagement were key to ensuring victory.

“Plans for 2027 must start now. Mobilise at the grassroots and encourage supporters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). Take advantage of the online registration using smartphones,” he advised.

Speaking on behalf of the executives, the PDP Chairman of Girei Local Government Area, Mr Ahmed Hero, commended Madagali’s leadership style and described him as a seasoned politician.

“I assure you that we will work tirelessly to ensure the party’s success in 2027. We will begin mobilising immediately to increase our membership base ahead of the elections,” he said.
