2027: ADC To Focus On Issue-based Campaign – Edo Chairman

The Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Edo, Tony Alile, says the party’s campaign for the 2027 general elections will focus on practical solutions to the country’s challenges.

Alile made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Benin.

He described the ADC as the only credible alternative ahead of the 2027 elections and expressed optimism about the party’s chances at the polls.

According to him, the party is committed to addressing the nation’s pressing issues through realistic and people-oriented policies.

“If you want something different, vote for the alternative party, which is the ADC,” he said.

Alile added that the party would not rely on flashy campaigns but would instead focus on the prevailing realities in the country.

He also dismissed as false claims that there are multiple ADC chairmen in Edo State.

He maintained that the tenure of the previous administration led by Kennedy Odion ended on May 19.

Alile noted that the current state executives emerged from a congress recognised by the party’s National Headquarters in Abuja and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

On the July 11 local government elections in the state, he said the party would not participate.

He urged Nigerians to support the ADC in the forthcoming general elections.
