Governor Chukwuma Soludo has announced a fresh round of appointments involving senior officials and special advisers in a move to reinforce his administration in Anambra State.
The announcement was made in a statement released on Monday in Awka by the Press Secretary, Christian Aburime.
The statement said the appointments are intended to enhance governance and boost effective service delivery.
Mrs Ngozi Iwouno was appointed Head of Service, while Mrs Joachim Anetoh will serve as Principal Secretary to the Governor. Dr Ben Nwankwo was named Chief of Staff, and Prof. Frank-Collins Okafor becomes State Chief of Protocol.
Also appointed is Mr Tobechukwu Nweke (SAN) as Attorney-General. Aburime continues as Chief Press Secretary, with Dr Vincent Okechi as Deputy Chief of Staff and Ms Ngozi Okoye as Deputy State Chief of Protocol.
In addition, Dr Godwin Nnadozie was appointed Special Adviser on Medicals and Pharmaceuticals, while Ms Chinwe Okoli will serve as Special Adviser on Innovation and Business Incubation and Chief Executive Officer of the Solution Innovation District.
Prof. Ebuka Nwankwo was named Special Adviser on Special Projects and Director of Project Evaluation and Monitoring, while Mr Ken Emeakayi takes on the role of Special Adviser on Community Security.
All appointments take immediate effect, according to the statement.
