United Nigeria Airlines (UNA) has announced the launch of direct flights from Lagos and Abuja to Gen. Tunde Idiagbon International Airport, Ilorin, starting 5 December.
The airline made the disclosure on Monday in a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Chibuike Uloka, in Lagos. He said the new route reflects UNA’s commitment to enhancing domestic connectivity, fostering national integration, and providing more convenient travel options for businesses, families, and visitors.
“We look forward to serving Ilorin and contributing meaningfully to the state’s social and economic development,” Uloka said.
UNA also announced additional network expansions. Direct flights from Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2), Lagos, and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, to Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport will begin 10 December. Scheduled flights from Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, to Chinua Achebe Airport, Anambra, are set to commence 15 December.
The airline stated that the expansions are part of its mission to unite travellers across Nigeria, ensuring timely and safe arrivals at their destinations.
