FAAC Distributes N2.094trn To Federal, State And Local Governments

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared a total sum of N2.094 trillion as revenue for the month of October to the Federal Government, states and Local Government Councils (LGCs).

The allocation was announced at the FAAC meeting for November held on Wednesday in Abuja, according to a communiqué issued by the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation (OAGF) and released by its Director of Press and Public Relations, Bawa Mokwa.

According to the communiqué, the N2.094 trillion distributable revenue comprises:

N1.376 trillion statutory revenue

N670.303 billion Value Added Tax (VAT)

N47.870 billion Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL)

The document also showed that N2.934 trillion gross revenue was available in October, from which N115.278 billion was deducted as cost of collection, and N724.603 billion set aside for transfers, interventions, refunds and savings.

It noted that gross statutory revenue increased to N2.164 trillion, higher by N36.832 billion than the N2.128 trillion recorded in September 2025. However, VAT revenue dropped to N719.827 billion, lower by N152.803 billion when compared with N872.630 billion received in September.

Breakdown of Allocations

From the N2.094 trillion total distributable revenue:

Federal Government received N758.405 billion

State Governments received N689.120 billion

Local Government Councils received N505.803 billion

N141.359 billion (13% derivation) was shared to oil-producing states

Statutory Revenue (N1.376 trillion):

Federal Government: N650.680 billion

States: N330.033 billion

Local Governments: N254.442 billion

Derivation: N141.359 billion

VAT (N670.303 billion):

Federal Government: N100.545 billion

States: N335.152 billion

Local Governments: N234.606 billion

EMTL (N47.870 billion):

Federal Government: N7.180 billion

States: N23.935 billion

Local Governments: N16.755 billion
