The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has killed several terrorists and bandits in coordinated airstrikes across Borno, Kwara, Katsina, Zamfara, and Kaduna States.
NAF spokesperson, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, said in a Monday statement that the precision strikes, conducted on November 9, targeted Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) and bandit enclaves under Operations HADIN KAI and FANSAN YAMMA.
He said the airstrikes destroyed ISWAP hideouts and logistics bases in Mallam Fatori and Shuwaram, while similar missions in Garin Dandi, Chigogo, and Zango Hill neutralised bandits.
Ejodame added that more terrorists were killed along the Birnin Gwari–Funtua axis in Zamfara and Kaduna States.
He said the operations reflect the Air Force’s renewed determination under Air Marshal Sunday Aneke to sustain intelligence-driven campaigns against insecurity.
