Deeper Life Ministry Rewards Top 2025 UTME Candidates In Suleja

The Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Suleja Region, Niger State, has rewarded the best-performing 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates from the church with cash prizes.

The Regional Overseer, Pastor Samuel Ndagi, presented the awards on Sunday in Suleja. Miss Faith Emmanuel, who scored 279 points, received ₦100,000 through the Deeper Life Schools Outreach (DLSO) programme. Miss Deborah Emmanuel (275 points) was given ₦70,000, while Miss Favour Ussaini (268 points) received ₦50,000.

Pastor Ndagi said the initiative aims to encourage academic excellence, noting that the church values both spiritual and intellectual growth. He prayed for the awardees and urged them to continue excelling in all areas of their lives.

Mr Favour Amakor, Regional Youth and DLSO Coordinator, said the award scheme, started in 2023 with a UTME benchmark of 250, will rise to 280 in 2026. He highlighted that scores have consistently improved since the program began.

The star prize winner, Miss Faith Emmanuel, was represented by her father as she had commenced a Criminology and Security degree at a private university in Minna. First runner-up Miss Deborah Emmanuel intends to use part of her prize to learn a skill, while third-place winner Miss Favour Ussaini, admitted to study Medical Microbiology at the University of Benin, encouraged other youths to strive for excellence.
