Edo Governor Okpebholo Announces New Appointments To Key Government Positions

Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has approved additional appointments to strategic roles in his administration.

The announcement was made in a statement issued on Monday in Benin by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Ikhilor. He noted that the appointments took effect from 27 October.

The new appointees are as follows:

Orobosa Omo-Ojo – General Manager, Bendel Newspaper Corporation

John Inegbedion – Special Adviser to the Governor on Tax Reforms

Johnson Adamu – Special Adviser on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation

Shuaibu Elamah – Special Adviser on Law Reforms

Dr Aminu Imafidor – Special Adviser on Livestock, Aquaculture and Agro-Processing

Omorede O. E. Osifo – Special Adviser on Women Mobilisation

Esther O. E. Eghaghe – Special Adviser on Women Mobilisation (Edo Central)

Vera Omonkhafe Sadoh – Special Adviser on Women Mobilisation (Edo North)

Mrs Itohan Osahon – Special Adviser on Women Mobilisation (Edo South)

Anslem Adima – Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs

Gov. Okpebholo urged the new appointees to demonstrate dedication, integrity and innovation in delivering on the administration’s development agenda for the state.
