A Nigerian court has postponed the trial of hip-hop artist Tochukwu Ojogwu, widely known as Odumodublvck, who is facing a civil lawsuit over allegations of assaulting fellow musician Levi Ogbogiri, also known as Kraziecent.
The case, before Justice J.O.E. Adeyemi-Ajayi at the FCT High Court in Life Camp, Abuja, was adjourned until 26 November after the defendant’s legal team sought more time to respond to the claims.
The claimant’s lawyer, Uchenna Ojembe, told the court that all required documents had been served on the defendant but no response had yet been received. Defence counsel Sheriff Bello requested an adjournment to allow proper preparation for the trial.
According to filings, Kraziecent alleges that Odumodublvck physically assaulted him during a public event on 16 December 2024, causing bodily harm, emotional trauma, and damage to personal property, including an iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The suit seeks monetary compensation for medical bills, emotional distress, and reputational damage, as well as an order compelling the rapper to issue a public apology on social media and in national newspapers.
Kraziecent further asked the court to grant a perpetual injunction preventing Odumodublvck or his associates from further harassment or intimidation.
The high-profile case has drawn public attention in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, where both artists are known for their growing influence in the rap and hip-hop scene.
