Wike Launches Abuja Road Project, Touts Tinubu’s Infrastructure Push

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike has said the administration of President Bola Tinubu is working “to change things for the better” for Nigerians, with Abuja residents set to benefit from a wave of new infrastructure projects.

Speaking at the inauguration of the rehabilitation of Old Keffi Road, linking Kado Village to Dei Dei, Wike noted that the works were part of 27 projects lined up for delivery in the capital city — an unprecedented number, he said, under any administration.

He called on residents to rally behind Tinubu and AMAC Chairman Christopher Maikalangu, arguing that effective leadership is measured by meeting the needs of the people.

FCT Minister of State, Dr Mariya Mahmoud, said the road represented Tinubu’s vision of “roads that promote connectivity, accessibility and economic growth,” describing it as a lifeline for thousands of daily commuters.
